Today, we'll be going over a Rolex Datejust 36 with a rosy colored dial with Pavi VI and IX on the hour marks, fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet. Reference number 126231, all right. As is indicated in it's named the Datejust 36 is 36 millimeters in diameter from finger to thumb as you can see, right, it has the motor block middle case with the screw-down case back and the winding crown along with the scratch resistant and glare proof set for a crystal on the front of what the Cyclops lens for ease of reading altogether working to give you a water resistance down to a 100 meters or 330 feet. Now, this bezel is the fluted style bezel made in Everose gold. The Everose gold is Rolex's own proprietary blend of gold with other compounds to effectively make a very warm tone to gold that effectively stays and keeps its color for a very long period of time withstanding even other rose golds that are out on the market as well. So, taking a look at that dial there, it has the Roman numeral arrow marks and it has the paved six and nine all handset diamonds giving you 24 diamonds, very, very closely there 24 diamonds in total. All right, so, together the six balances out the crown at the 12 o'clock and the nine also balances with the date aperture very well done by Rolex there, right, and while we're talking about the data aperture, it also works very much like any other Datejust, all right. So, while we're looking at that we can see the overall function here simply unwind the crown to the first position, you can wind the watch, all right? The second position allows you to then change the date by widening it clockwise. So it's about a quarter turn to advance the date so it's pretty fast. If you find yourself on the 20th of February, for example you can just go to March 1st, rather easily. Pull out to the final position and hacks that seconds hand so you can then adjust the time as necessary, all right? Be sure to press that crown in, screw it tightly against the case to ensure that superior water resistance. So what allows that to happen is the movement. That's the 30 to 35 caliber movement with a plus or minus two second per day time differential per 24 hours. It allows for the center function, the center hour minute and seconds hands function along with the instantaneous rapid setting of the date with the stop seconds for precise time setting. The oscillator is a blue pair chrome hairspring with high-performance pair of flux shock absorbers. So it effectively remains impervious to most magnetism as well as high impact and shock so it keeps time in just about any condition. It also has a perpetual rotor on the inside to allow for that bi-directional self-aligning. So, all you really need to do is just whine that crown to the fullest and just wear it on your wrist. The natural movements of your wrist will keep it a wound up to the 70 hour power reserve, all right. So altogether, you can set this down for about three whole days, pick it back up again and it'll be good to go. No need to wind the watch. We're looking at the framing here. The bracelet is the Jubilee style bracelet five piece links across with the intermediary links being a high polish also in rose gold with the outer links being steel, brushed steel, all right, brushed surface, or finishing on the inside for a very nice feel as well. Down to the buckle here is the oyster folding class with an easy link five millimeter extension. Now, typically, your wrist will swell with heat and with hydration during the day. So, to compensate for that, all you need to do is simply reach underneath just pull it out, and there you go. An easy extra five millimeters in case your wrist happens to expand during the day again due to heat or for hydration, right. Stay hydrated, that's a good thing. And while we're here, I'll try it on, give you some more of my thoughts as to how it feels on the wrist. So, zooming out, it actually is a bit large. So I'll have to wear it a bit higher up on my arm there but on a seven and a half, 7.25 inch wrist with that framing. So Datejust 36 actually fits me very well. So, I get a very good ratio of bracelet to case. So I'm seeing plenty of bracelet, I get a good framing here. And when it comes to the weight, it is rather light for what you get. It's a Rolex with rose gold so gold construction here with a steel outer casing very solid and a very good center of balance. It's actually not right on top of my wrist, it's somewhere underneath. So, it definitely has that good counterweight within the class and the rest of the bracelet here to actually make it not very, not ridiculously heavy on one side or the other. And when it comes to the overall look, it fits just about any sort of apparel, really. So, it's a very neutral color that rose gold with that rosy colored sun ray dial finish, right and the Roman numeral markers actually give it a very nice touch, sort of a bit art decorly but with a little flare with the six and the nine really showing off and making it very easy to see in just about any lighting angle, all right.
